The Wyoming mountains are beautiful to behold, but the weather can change at a moment's notice. The weather can be very unpredictable, so it is best to plan on all types of weather when packing. Below you'll find a list of handy items to pack:

• In Spring and Fall you should bring a warm jacket and gloves.
• During Summer a light jacket, sweater or sweatshirt should be fine.
• A hat and/or riding helmet (the ranch does not provide one but if you have one and want to wear it by all means please bring it). A stampede string/strap is mandatory on all cowboy hats.
• Riding boots... For your safety we highly recommend cowboy boots. Boots or shoes should have a smooth sole and a heel. We do have several pairs of boots available in our boot room; you can borrow a pair during your stay. Also, there is a local Western store where you can purchase boots for a reasonable price ($60 and above). Hiking boots or lugged sole shoes cannot be worn.
• Comfortable jeans
• Long sleeve shirt
• Gloves (riding gloves & warm gloves would be good to have)
• Clothing that can be layered
• Bathing suit (you don't want to miss out on spending some time in our outdoor hot tub!)
• Rain gear
• Sun screen
• If you have your own saddle and wish to bring it, please do so!

The ranch provides for your convenience:

• Bathrobes in the lodge guest rooms
• Microwave & small refrigerator in the lodge lounge
• Hairdryers in all guest rooms
• Laundry facility for guest use
